Moxie Cinema Featuring A Pair of Golden Globe Winners
Did you catch the broadcast last night? Plenty of news, including some good stuff you can catch right now at The Moxie. The best picture went to WALTZ WITH BASHIR the First Doc to Win at the Golden Globes
Ari Folman’s WALTZ WITH BASHIR, the acclaimed animated doc from Isreal that was recently named Best Picture of the Year by the National Society of Film Critics, tonight became the first nonfiction film to win a Golden Globe, taking the prize for Best Foreign Language Film. The Globes do not, obviously, present an award for Best Documentary.
Currently showing at the Moxie are the films “Slumdog Millionaire”, winner of four awards, including Best Motion Picture – Drama.
“The Reader” is also showing, featuring Kate Winslet, winner of Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama
