4bJoin us this Saturday September 26th for two events in one! We’ll be holding a quarterly meeting of the MFAS followed immediately by the Manhattan Short Films Festival, sponsored by the Media, Journalism and Film Department at Missouri State University.

Cost: $8 students, $10 general admission (door prizes!)

The price of your ticket will go directly to fund a Digital Film Production student scholarship in the Media, Journalism and Film Department.

2009 Manhattan film synopsis

This year the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival received 428 Short Film Entries from 36 Countries and selected 10 Finalists’ Short Films. These short films will be distributed through the MANHATTAN SHORT Cinema network between the 19th and 27th of September 2009 and will screen 532 times in 173 Cities across 5 Continents in 1 Week.

You Be the Judge!
The Judges of these 10 films are you. Audiences at each venue will be handed a voting card upon entry to each cinema and asked to vote for the ONE film they think should win. Votes are tallied by each cinema and sent through to MANHATTAN SHORT HQ where the winner is announced on Tuesday September 29th in NYC.
