Join Jerry Jones, Missouri Film Office Director, For State Of Filmmaking Discussion
Join us Thursday January 21st for an open discussion on the state of filmmaking in Missouri. Our special guest will be Jerry Jones, Director of the Missouri Film Office, who will provide an update on the Film Office’s efforts to increase production opportunities in the state. In addition to background on “Winter’s Bone” which will premiere at Sundance on January 23rd, find out about “Up In The Air” which was primarily shot in St Louis in 2009. A new online Production Guide is also in the works.

In addition, President Steve Olson will provide an update on the Missouri Motion Media Association which is holding a Legislative Day on Wednesday February 2nd in Jefferson City. The objective is to show support for the Film Office and the need for increases in funding and tax credits to bring additional productions to Missouri.
