Genre: Reality series
Title: The Ghost Catcher
Treatment: “Ghost Busters” meet “Medium” with the flare of “Ghost Hunters”. Imagine being able to capture a ghost and conduct an interview with it while using science in an attempt to prove its mere existence. The Ghost Catcher TV series will take the viewer to the next level of ghost hunting.

Segment 1, Background History and set up

The viewers see interviews with known caretakers, locals and historians that will provide an interesting view of what we might expect to happen while at this location. Dr. Gary Hawkins along with his team of professional ghost investigators arrives on the scene, in an elaborate Paranormal Mobile Response Vehicle (PMRV), specifically designed to monitor all paranormal activity. This mobile control center is equipped with state-of-the-art, highly sensitive surveillance and ghost detecting devices. All the rooms of the locale are monitored from the PMRV. The team members are given historic information as well as any personal experiences of paranormal activity that has taken place at the current location.

Segment 2, The Ghost Hunt

The team leader assigns the investigators a specific location. They use their equipment to monitor and record all paranormal activity. This is an exciting time for the team, tensions are high and emotions are at their peak. They are preparing to assist in the capture and immobilization of a ghost. The levels of excitement rise as the team gathers vital data and the dispatcher confirms that the time has come to bring in “The Ghost Catcher”.

Segment 3, The Ghost Catch

When the ghost investigators have detected supernatural activity, the dispatcher notifies Dr. Hawkins…“It’s a GO!!” Teams are told by the dispatcher to hold their current positions. Dr. Hawkins along with a medium goes into the venue together. Team members are excited as they wait for confirmation of the presence of a ghost. Dr. Hawkins can feel the presence as he reaches out to capture a ghost! Dispatch alerts everyone that we have positively made contact at this time. The ghost is now immobilized; the investigators will obtain thermal color scans, audio recordings, temperature readings, and digital photography, as proof to the viewer that indeed there is something there. The medium will begin to interview the ghost, asking questions such as its name, age, and why it is here. Once the information has been gathered, Dr. Hawkins will then release the ghost. The team will then assemble in the PMRV to review all data that was documented throughout the entire investigation.

Gary Hawkins, The Ghost Catcher, along with his team, evaluate the evenings events to determine a rating for the location, and a certificate is presented to the owner of the establishment on behalf of The Ghost Catcher TV show. The team then loads back into the PMRV, heading to the next destination to gather more crucial evidence in their quest for truth.
