Springfield Cardinals Celebrate The Movies
Join the Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield for an evening of baseball and the movies as we enjoy a Springfield Cardinal’s game against the San Antonio Missions on Wednesday August 19th 2009. Game time is 7:10 pm at Hammons Field which is located in downtown Springfield at 955 East Trafficway (Directions) The game is designated as “Star Wars Night” and you are encouraged to come dressed as your favorite character from the movie.
The evening is designed as a Fund Raiser as well as a social event for MFAS members, their guests and anyone interested in supporting local film production. All proceeds from the event will go towards funding the feature film “Springfield 417 – The Movie”
Purchase tickets here via Paypal and join us for the evening. $2 from every ticket purchased from the Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield will go to the Production Fund. Seating will be in the Outfield Boxes, Section N in particular, and we anticipate that there will also be some Springfield produced short films screened prior to the game and possibly during the game. Details are still being worked out with the Cardinals.
We anticipate this will become an annual event.
