MFAS is a member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and the Springfield Regional Arts Council. All benefits of these memberships accrue to our members. Contact us for more information.
Below is a listing of our membership levels where you’ll find one that’s right for you. Voting rights require a Professional membership*. Please note that dues are yearly.

Enthusiast or Student ~ $20 per year
For the film lover who supports the mission and goals of the Alliance.

For those working in the industry anywhere in the United States. Includes

Professional/Screener ~ $50 per year
Adds access to the HD Projection Room and a SpringfieldArts.org membership to the Professional account

Professional/Producer ~ $150 per year
For access and use of the Editing Room with the Final Cut Pro editing software and our Canon 7D HD DSLR cameras (2) and related production equipment that includes wireless and shotgun mikes, an Arris light kit. Equipment usage is for non-commercial use only and will require a Creative Commons copyright notice and credit for MFAS/SRAC. Use of the equipment also includes a nominal hourly fee. All funds are used to support the maintenance of the equipment and for future purchases. Professional/Screener membership benefits are included in this membership level.

March – DSLR’s for Filmmakers discussion panel; True/False Film Festival in Columbia
April – Winter’s Bone Springfield screening announced and Screening Room installation completed
May – Winter’s Bone Springfield Premiere
June – 65″ HDTV with Blue-Ray DVD and surround sound installed for member use (Creamery)
July – Final Cut Pro Editing system installed (Creamery with 7×24 access)

January – Queen City Cinema Series begins! Free screenings for locally-produced films at the Moxie!
The 1st Tuesday of the month, beginning at 8:30 pm. Free admission, submit films to The Moxie.

Mar – True/False Film Festival in Columbia
Spring – Small Business Guide to Video and MFAS Directory
