Membership has its benefits!
MFAS is a member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Springfield Association and the Springfield Regional Arts Council. All benefits of these memberships accrue to our members. Contact us for more information.
Below is a listing of our membership levels where you’ll find one that’s right for you. Each level includes voting rights* and its own package of unique benefits. Please note that dues are yearly. *for members 18 years of age and older
Enthusiast or Student ~ $20 per year
For the film lover who supports the mission and goals of the Alliance.
* Membership ID card
* Monthly e-newsletter – stay up-to-date on independent film production efforts in the region and screening info
Professional ~ $35 per year
For those working in the industry anywhere in the United States. Includes
* Membership ID card
* Monthly e-newsletter
* Standard listing in the Regional Directory
* A free WordPress web hosting account
* Access to the MFAS Constant Contact email marketing account
Professional/Screener ~ $50 per year
Adds access to the HD Projection Room and a SpringfieldArts.org membership to the Professional account
Professional/Editor ~ $150 per year
For access and use of the Editing Room and Red/Scarlet video camera system (being purchased upon release). Equipment usage is for non-commercial use only and will require a Creative Commons copyright notice and credit for MFAS/SRAC. Use of the equipment also includes a nominal hourly fee. All funds are used to support the maintenance of the equipment and for future purchases. Professional/Screener membership benefits are included in this membership level.

* Mail check and registration form to MFAS 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield, MO 65802.

2010 Activities
January – Jerry Jones, Missouri Film Office, visited the Monthly meeting
February – RED Camera demonstration
March – DSLR’s for Filmmakers discussion panel
April – Winter’s Bone Springfield screening announced and Screening Room installation completed
May – Winter’s Bone Springfield Premiere and Final Cut Pro Editing system installation to be completed (7×24 access)
What’s Coming Up?

Fall – Production Assistants and Grip Training Classes planned
Fall – Small Business Guide to Video and MFAS Directory – a Project Manager has been identified, we are looking for a Magazine Designer (paid position, non-profit rates)
